On “Fry’s Dream”

When I listen to this, it reminds me of South Korean culture (not a culture, but a overall situation that 20s faces while working or finding a job). This lyrics are about young generation living on unstable and precarious ground. Facing harsh competition, insecure jobs, rising living costs, and a future that feels as fragile as an egg in a hot pan. But what I feel most in this song is still I should hold on to little sparks of hope. Even if those dreams seem trivial to others, they are what keep me moving forward haha… It reminds me of time that I struggled to find my own dream and tried to compare me with others. The time passed a lot from that, this song and lyrics make me feel that I should hold and keep my own pace in everything.
