On “Changing Your Opinion”

Told at a live listening session
That was probably one of the best times, back in my youth when I was about 25 years old. Before I started working. I met two guys at the Strand Cafe in Fürth. And I had my keyboard up in my parents’ attic. So I invited the two guys over... with their two weird keyboards. And we started making music there. Then the opportunity arose for us to go to the music store. We got a small rehearsal room there and started recording music. One of them took care of the bass, the other took care of the rhythm, and I took care of the melody and vocals. That’s how we found each other. Those were really some wonderful and great years. We never dreamed of becoming famous. We also never had the problem of not knowing where to upload our songs. We only had a four-track cassette deck. And the nice thing was that I then got a new edition of four songs from the two of them, from back then. They had exchanged them with each other and worked on them. It was a nice surprise and a reminder of a creative and musical time.
